Additional costs
MPI have introduced a new Levy as at the 1st July 2025 for all food service businesses. The cost for the year 1st July 2026 – 30 June 2027 is $86.25 + GST which will be passed on to MPI.
As per levy rules, an $11 + GST administration charge will also be charged as part of the levy collection.
This will be charged to all existing businesses, with new businesses required to pay the levy as part of their initial registration.
