Events using roads

Any person objecting to a proposed closure is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof. Any objection shall be in writing and be received no later than 4pm, at least 29 days before the road closure.

Should a decision to close the road(s) named below be confirmed a Public Notice shall be given.

Apply for an event road closure

This information applies to all types of events that use our roads including running, cycling, parades, filming.

It is intended to keep event participants and road users safe. If an event requires a road closure, the application must be made 3 months prior to the event.
