Geothermal bore data

Rotorua Lakes Council geothermal bore data is collated from a number of sources including drilling logs, resource consent applications and site inspections. This information is intended to be used as preliminary information only. The information is not complete, its accuracy varies, and it may not be consistent with information held by other organisations.

Other information sources such as regional council information and the national wells database should also be inspected. A visual inspection undertaken by a suitably qualified professional undertaken to confirm data accuracy is also recommended.
