Long-term Plan

Long-term plans (LTPs) are the funding and delivery plans for councils. They take a 10-year view and are reviewed every three years, setting out the services we plan to provide, projects we plan to deliver and how we plan to pay for it.

Work on 2027-2037 LTP underway

Work on development of Rotorua Lakes Council’s 2027-2037 Long-term Plan (LTP) has started, with a series of workshops to provide direction underway.

Rotorua Mayor Tania Tapsell says with big changes to local government coming, this is an opportunity to reset how and where we deliver essential services to our communities.

Community conversations will be critical to make sure we deliver what’s right for Rotorua.
