Bylaws
A bylaw is a rule or regulation made by a Local Authority such as the Rotorua Lakes Council. The Local Government Act 2002 empowers a local authority to make bylaws on a diverse range of subjects. Some other Acts also empower local authorities to make bylaws on specific topics. By-laws are instructions on what to do. A list of Rotorua Lakes Council Bylaws is below.
