Lake Rotoiti

Hinehopu Lakeshore Reserve

At the eastern end of Lake Rotoiti is the Hinehopu Lakeshore Reserve, which is well-known for shoreline fishing. Only during December and February, water skiing is allowed on the lake. The Hinehopu (Hongi's) trail borders around the reserve. Remember to consider that the walkway and the bush area are administered by the Department of Conservation.
