Official Information Request - Fire safety systems approved HUD motels

Subject: LGOIMA request - fire safety systems at 13 approved HUD motels

I refer to your LGOIMA request of 13 June 2023 (received via Council’s communications department) regarding the known fire safety systems at each of the 13 approved motels, including what alarm systems, are they connected to FENZ, evacuation and if it is independent per unit (can be affected if multi-storeyed), fire rating between walls (is this 15/15, or 30/30 or more?).

I understand you have been advised that you would need to approach FENZ for information on connections to FENZ and evacuation plans.

Please find attached a spreadsheet containing the fire safety information for each of the 13 HUD approved motels.
