We are looking to get a voting guide together today.

I think most of the information we need is accessible on the website, but I just want to double check if any more voting locations are likely to be added to what is on this page here.

The reporter also asked to confirm if the deadline for posting votes had passed.

We informed the reporter that there are no additional “orange voting bins” being introduced and that special votes will be processed at Rotorua Lakes Council until midday Saturday, 11 October.

We confirmed that he was correct that the deadline for posting votes via mail had passed.

Topic: Basketball courts in Rotorua

We are doing a summer story on the popularity of basketball in Rotorua and the hopes of many to get more public courts.

For the story, I was hoping to get an inventory from RLC of how many free publicly accessible basketball courts they provide/maintain and where they are?

I am mostly referring to outdoor courts here, but if there are any indoor ones that are free I am forgetting please let me know.

Also, I imagine council won't have the amount of weekend accessible outdoor basketball courts (i.e those on school grounds) but if there is that information to hand that would also be very helpful.
