Reporter had the following questions about damage to Westbrook sports fields:
Can I please get a comment from the council answering the following?
- When did the latest vandalism happen?
- How has it been caused?
- How did they get in?
- What does fixing it take, and roughly what's the cost involved?
- Do you have any leads on who did it?
- Are police involved?
- When was the last time this happened (I understand the same thing happened a week ago?)
- Why is this such a nuisance?

Given we'd want to publish this today, can I please have a response by midday at the latest?

From a Council Spokesperson:
We are aware of this incident, along with previous similar occurrences which your paper has covered. Our team is currently investigating and reviewing access points. Such incidents are reported to the police.
The reporter was also informed the incident happened on May 5.
