I refer to your Official Information request of 4 May 2026 for information regarding Council's rate increase.
Question:
- What is the shortfall in rates ( in nzd) that justifies the rates hike of 8% that has been announced?
- What are the extra rates going to be spent on?

Answer:
No Council does not.
