Subject: LGOIMA Request - Building Costs

Kia ora,

I refer to your LGOIMA request of 15 March 2025 regarding Council subsidisation of building costs, specifically:

1. Did Rotorua Lakes Council subsidise the costs of building the Wai Ora Lakeside Spa Resort, and if so, by how much?

2. Did Rotorua Lakes Council subsidise the costs of building the Wai Ariki Hot Springs and Spa, and if so, by how much?

3. Is Rotorua Lakes Council going to subsidise the costs of building the Noho Lakeside Hotel, and if so, by how much?

Rotorua Lakes Council did not subsidise the costs of building the Wai Ora Lakeside Spa Resort or Wai Ariki Hot Springs and Spa, and are unlikely to subsidise the costs of building the Noho Lakeside Hotel.
