  RLC is generally contacted by a complainant or anonymously, and the process as detailed above is followed.
• How many were received in the last year? June 30, 2022 to July 1, 2023?
  Council changed software systems at the end of May. The following information is provided from the previous system for the period 1 May 2022 to 24 May 2023. During this period 3,298 noise complaints were received.
• What were the usual times of complaints?

Top time of reporting: between 8PM and 3AM (2,055 of 3,298 = 62%)

• What was the monthly average for seizures for the last three years?Monthly average – 1.7 seizures

What was taken?

• How much money was collected from seizures? (For first time and second time separately if possible, for the last three years)
  Total revenue for the last three years:
  - First seizure - $1,812.18
  - Second seizure - $0
• Were the police called for any of these incidents? (how many)
  The police were called 37 times
• Generally why would police be called?
  When equipment is required to be seized.
• Based on last year's seizures, what increase in revenue is expected from the fees increasing?
  No-one recovered their seized equipment last year. Council is not expecting this to change for 2023/24.
• Any general comment about noise complaints/control/the process?
  Council does not have any other comment.
