Subject: LGOIMA request - correspondence between RLC and Kainga Ora, and RLC land holdings

I refer to your LGOIMA request of 1 June 2022 regarding 8 Titoki Place (noted as 18 in your email) and 33 Thebes Street, and respond as follows:

• A copy of the Geotechnical Investigation Report including the findings of the site investigation and the assessment of the ground conditions for 33 Thebes Street and 8 Titoki Place.
• The name and contact details of the consultants who provided the Geotechnical Investigation Report for 33 Thebes Street and 8 Titoki Place.
  Rotorua Lakes Council does not hold a copy of the Geotechnical Investigation Report. Any investigation of the ground conditions of 8 Titoki Place have been undertaken by Kāinga Ora. Council has therefore referred this part of your request to Kāinga Ora for response.
  Note: 33 Thebes Street is sportsfields land adjacent to the velodrome and is not being considered for any other use.
• Any correspondence (emails or letters) between Rotorua Lakes Council, Kainga Ora and the consultants involved, pertaining to 33 Thebes Street and 8 Titoki Place. Attached is the information requested for the period 4 November 2019 to 1 June 2022. Redactions have been made under the following clauses of the Act: -Section 7(2)(a) – protect the privacy of natural persons (third party names and contact details) -Section 7(2)(b)(ii) – prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied the information (proposed fees) -Section 7(2)(c) – protect information which is subject to an obligation of confidence (and outside the scope of the request) Note: The marked redactions are made section 7(2)(a) of the Act, unless indicated otherwise.
• A list of all freehold land (excluding reserves) owned by Rotorua Lakes Council within the urban area.
• Attached are:
  Spreadsheet containing a list of RLC owned non-reserve (not gazetted) land. The last column indicates whether the land is being managed as a reserve – shown as RED and ORANGE on the map.
  Map indicating the location of RLC owned property showing:
  RED lots – RLC owned property
  GREEN lots – RLC owned property – Gazetted reserves
  ORANGE lots – RLC owned property – Land managed as reserves (non-gazetted)
