Electors have the right to demand a poll, in accordance with section 29 of the Act, to countermand this resolution (made on Wednesday 19 August 2026).
The choice is between the FPP and Single Transferable Vote (STV) electoral systems.

- delivered to the Electoral Officer of the Rotorua Lakes Council, 1061 Haupapa Street, Rotorua 3010 by 5pm, Friday 11 December 2026.
Every elector who signs a demand must provide their full name and the address for which they are qualified as an elector of the Rotorua Lakes Council.
