The reporter was informed the figures were correct and that the time span was from 1 July 2023 to 30 March 2024.

Topic: New playground for Koutu

Just checking how much the new playground and toilets at Koutu will cost please.

Also are there any other playgrounds in town looking at getting an upgrade in the near future?

We can confirm the budget once the playground is complete but in the meantime the total budget for playground renewals for this financial year is $1.1m. Similar to other years.

The next playground to be renewed will be Boyes Park in Glenholme. We are in the pre-construction phase at the moment and engagement with the community took place late last year – news item on that here
