Goals

In 2016 Rotorua Lakes Council established seven measurable long-term goals. These goals set the direction for the district and for council work, services and planning.

During the past few years the focus has been on issues needing immediate attention, but moving forward, the following seven goals will influence the work council does.

Rotorua is a prosperous connected community; growing education, training and employment opportunities.

Rotorua is known globally for its clean, natural environment, air quality and healthy lakes.
