Council meeting wrap
Council yesterday approved for consultation draft policies and strategies that will underpin the draft 2024-34 Long-term Plan.
Consultation will occur in April following approval of a consultation document and the draft policies and strategies will be published alongside this.
The following draft policies and strategies were approved for long-term plan consultation:

The draft rates remissions policy which governs how Council applies remissions – the rules, criteria and what Council can and can’t do. See the draft policy here: rates-remissions-policy-2024.pdf (PDF, 233KB)
