New CEO takes reins at Rotorua Airport
Rotorua Airport's new chief executive, Nicole Brewer, has taken up her new role for the airport company
She replaces acting chief executive Wayne Wootten who has been managing the airport in an interim capacity since the resignation last year of former CEO Alistair Rhodes.
Ms Brewer has a background in aviation, and in the tourism and hospitality sector. She has worked for the Regent Hotel in Auckland (now Stamford Plaza), Emirates, Air New Zealand, the national tourism certification organisation Qualmark, and more recently Bay of Plenty Regional Council.
Rotorua Airport is a Rotorua Lakes Council-owned
CCO (council controlled organisation) with its own
board of directors appointed by the council.
