School holiday fun at museum
8 July 2014
Phantom City
Get creative with the kids at Rotorua Museum's fun Phantom City themed craft activities.
The arts and crafts activities are available from 10am to 3pm, until Friday 18 July.
Let your imagination run wild as you create buildings and structures to put into the museum's Phantom City Project Space, which will be open every Sunday in August from 10am to 3pm.
Participation in the school holiday crafts is free with Museum admission, which is free for locals with relevant ID.
Story Time with Mayor Steve
Bring the kids to Rotorua Museum for a special story time with Mayor Steve Chadwick on Sunday 13 July from 10.30am.
Hear a World War I themed story as the museum commemorates the centenary of WWI and the opening of its Great War Stories exhibition.
This event is run in conjunction with Rotorua District Library, and is suitable for kids between the ages of 4 to 10 years.
For further information on both events contact Naiomi Murgatroyd on 07 351 8055 or email naiomi.murgatroyd@rdc.govt.nz
