Rotorua's Civic Theatre is the venue for a mix of top entertainment this month, including Dame Kiri Te Kanawa's 70th birthday tour concert tonight (6 May).
With an international career spanning over 40 years, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa has become one of the most famous sopranos of all time, receiving honours from the Queen, Oxford and Cambridge Universities, a lifetime achievement award from the British Recording Industry, and New Zealander of the Year.
Celebrating her 70th Birthday with an international recital tour with her long-time accompanist Terence Dennis, the evening is a rare opportunity to watch Dame Kiri Te Kanawa live on stage.
