Rotorua Museum community Christmas tree and family crafts
Rotorua Museum is once again asking locals to donate to its community Christmas tree after its overwhelming success last year.
The tree is ready to receive gifts for Waiariki Women's Refuge. Last year individuals and local businesses donated 485 gifts to be distributed by Waiariki Women's Refuge to families in need.
Families, individuals and companies can bring in wrapped gifts and place them under the tree. Please make sure they have a gift tag indicating if they are for a mother or child, whether the child's gift is for a boy or girl, and suitable age range.
Gifts will be delivered to Waiariki Women's Refuge just before Christmas. Presents can still be donated after Christmas and will be taken to the refuge at the end of this event on 3 January.
Meanwhile, Rotorua Museum is hosting free Christmas craft activities every weekend before Christmas, beginning tomorrow.
Get creative with the kids at our Christmas themed drop-in craft activities for the whole family. Children can come and have fun making and decorating Christmas decorations.
