Keeping old or unwanted agrichemicals stored on your property presents an unnecessary risk to staff and family, livestock, pets and the environment.
Don’t leave them lingering for the next generation to deal with – book them for collection!
Rotorua Lakes Council supports Agrecovery Rural Recycling Programme which helps to collect and dispose of unwanted or expired agrichemicals. Collections are free or subsidised depending on which chemicals you have to dispose of.
How it works:
Step 1 - take inventory of your chemicals
Step 2 - Book your collection online
Step 3 - Wait for subsidy assessment
Step 4 - Get your booking details with details of fees and collection time.
Step 5 - Confirm your booking. If fees or collection dates are not suitable you can decide not to proceed with your booking.
