Rotorua District Council Job Vacancies
An Independant Qualified Person (IQP) is a person who is accepted by the Territorial Authority (Council) as being appropriately qualified to undertake the inspection and maintenance of the feature concerned.
‘Independent’ means that the person has no financial interest in the building.
All Independent Qualified Persons are required to be registered with the Hamilton City Council on behalf of the Councils in the Waikato Building Consent Group and other councils within the Waikato and Bay of Plenty Regions. These council's are as follows: Hamilton City Council, Hauraki District Council, Kawerau District Council, Matamata / Piako District Council, Opotiki District Council, Otorohanga District Council, Rotorua Lakes Council, Ruapehu District Council. South Waikato District Council, Taupo District Council, Tauranga City Council, Thames / Coromandel District Council, Waikato District Council, Waipa District Council, Waitomo District Council, Western Bay of Plenty District Council, Whakatane District Council.
