Senior Driver programmes

Road Safety Rotorua offers two road safety programmes for drivers over the age of 65. The aim of both programmes is to increase the knowledge of senior drivers out on the roads, and bring them up to speed with the most current road rules.

Driving on

6.jpgOnce a year Council hosts a free, highly practical driving programme called 'Driving On' for drivers over 65 years of age.  The course is aimed at refreshing and improving senior drivers' knowledge and experiences of driving, and exposes them to the benefit of new vehicle technologies. This is a great opportunity for seniors to bush up on their driving skills in a safe and controlled environment with the help of reputed driving coaches.
