Official Information Request - HUE for Tarawera reticulation scheme
Sent: Tuesday, 27 June 2023 1:32 pm
Subject: LGOIMA request - list of all HUE for Tarawera reticulation scheme
I refer to your LGOIMA request of 30 May 2023 for a list of all Household Unit Equivalents (HUE) identified in relation to, and to be serviced by, the Tarawera reticulation scheme, along with your follow-up email of 26 June 2023 regarding the list of affected properties supplied to you on 15 June 2023.
The list provided to you on 15 June is all of the confirmed addresses, and HUE’s, that Council currently holds in our rating database. We are anecdotally aware that there may be other dwellings that would count as a HUE. These will be identified and confirmed as the scheme proceeds. In other words we expect the list of HUE’s affected under the scheme will increase.
The properties which have generic addresses such as Ronald Road I can confirm do not have street addresses in our system. There is only one exception that has not seemed to transfer to the report provided to you which is that 1180 Tarawera Road was reported to you as Tarawera Road.
Our team has reviewed the list of addresses you have reported as being missing and respond below:
- 1 Te Mu Road does not exist – no property has been built and there does not appear to be a vacant section
- 10 Bay View Road – this is listed in the previous information provided to you
- 15 Waitangi Road – merged with 13 and consequently the address including both sections is 13
- 156 Spencer Road does not exist as a property or a section
- 296 Spencer Road does not exist as a property or a section
- 329 Spencer Road does not exist as a property or a section
- 449 Spencer Road – merged with 447 and consequently the address including both sections is 447
- 463 Spencer Road – merged with 461 and consequently the address including both sections is 461
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this response/decision.
