Pukuatua Street Parking Building – planned power outage
Unison Networks will be undertaking planned cabling work on Thursday morning (24 September) which will temporarily affect users who rely on the lift to access/exit the Pukuatua Street Parking Building.
Between 7:40am – 8:00am on Thursday 24 September 2020.
What will be impacted?
The lift in the Pukuatua Street Parking Building will not be operating between 7:40am and 8:00am. It’s recommended that customers who rely on the lift should make alternative parking or transport arrangements on this day.
Aside from the lift, what else do I need to know?
- Vehicles can still enter and exit as usual during the power cut. The barrier arms will be manually opened for the duration of the power cut but the parking system will continue to operate as normal.
- Customers with swipe card access in and out of the building from the street will continue as normal.
- The stairwells remain in use for those that can do so safely.
- A Safe City Guardian will be onsite to assist anyone that has questions on the day. Please phone Rotorua Lakes Council on 07 348 4199 if you need assistance.
Do I still need to pay for parking?
Yes. The parking payment machines will continue working and will accept your payment.
