I refer to your Official Information request of 5 June 2026 for information regarding funding towards the Matariki Drone Show.
Question:
How much did RLC contribute towards the Matariki Drone Show itself and everything else around it to organise/make it possible?
Answer:
Council did not contribute any monies towards the Matariki Drone Show and Councils’ only role in the event was to give approval for the use of the Lakefront Reserve.
