Thanks for the [response provided last Thursday regarding Tarawera sewerage scheme pipeline] - can I just double check it's still up to date re injunction [ie Council has not progressed with the injunction to date.]?

And can I ask for a more specific answer to: When will work on the project rebegin, if it hasn’t already? [response last week was: This is an operational decision for our Chief Executive.]

Re any update regarding the injunction: there has been no change.

Re when work will restart: No date has been set at this stage.

Topic: Lakefront land

I'm just after a quick fact check of a line I have in my story that's being published in the newspaper tomorrow if I can?

It's about the Pukeroa Lakefront Holdings land at the Lakefront (former QE Health site) on the corner of Whakaue St and Memorial Dr.

David Tapsell has answered some questions for me about what's happening with the land now and he's let us know it's being topsoiled and put into grass until they work out what their future development plans will be.

He mentioned the grassed area will be managed by the council until they finalise their redevelopment plans. Can I just check that's correct? I'm sure it is, but just want to be sure.
