Are you ready to vote?
Are you ready to vote in this year’s local election? Keep an eye on your mailbox as voting documents are being delivered from 16 – 21 September.
Make an informed vote, get the facts by reading the Pre-Election Report, and get to know the candidates, what they stand for, and ask questions on the (s)elect app.
Voting is by post, ensure you return your completed voting papers to one of the orange “Vote” ballot boxes located around the district (see list below), or to a NZ Post box. Make sure you post your vote into a ballot box before 12pm on 8 October and allow sufficient time for your vote to get to council if using NZ Post.
If you haven’t received your voting papers by 21 September please call Council's Customer Centre on 07 348 4199.
