Te kōtuku rerenga tahi o te ao hurihuri nei kua hoki atu ki te kōhanga.
The rare and majestic White Heron of an ever changing world has flown home to the nest.
As we mourn the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Union Jack and New Zealand flag are flying at half mast from the Rotorua Lakes Council’s Civic Centre.
A book of condolence is available in the foyer of Council’s Civic Centre, as well as in the Rotorua Library, for those who would like to share their tributes, thoughts, and well wishes with the royal family. The book will be passed on to the Governor-General of New Zealand or sent direct to His Majesty the King.
Those who would like to leave flowers are encouraged to do so at the cenotaph in Government Gardens.
Details of official events will be announced in the coming days by New Zealand Government. For up to date information, visit https://gg.govt.nz/.
