Sneak peek at what's in store for the new Forest Hub off Tarawera Road!
The new forest hub currently being developed off Tarawera Road will include a brand new toilet and shower block as featured below!
These facilities have been designed by local company Bishop Architecture and have been designed to blend into the surrounding environment.
The block includes toilets, showers, and family rooms. Cold showers will be free, with a pay system in place for warm showers.
This work is part of the Whakarewarewa Forest development. This is a collaborative project between the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment, Te Komiti Nui O Ngāti Whakaue, Tūhourangi Tribal Authority, CNI Iwi Holdings, and Rotorua Lakes Council.
