Tamariki in Rotorua have seven new playgrounds to enjoy these holidays.
Earlier in the year we shared information about a major investment into playground renewals across the district. Each playground was replaced based on feedback from the local community and each design incorporated a different theme. Read the previous update here.
Playground works are part of Council’s annual renewals programme. Replacements are based on the age and condition of the playground and also the needs of the local community.
Council owns and maintains 80 playgrounds with 227 individual pieces of playground equipment.
