3 June 2020

Last Thursday more than 400 people turned out to get their Night Market fix at the first ever Rotorua Food Truck Thursday.

Twelve food trucks provided food from around the world, from crepes to wood-fire pizza, from tasty sliders to spicy Indian, there was something for everyone. We are adding one more food truck to this week’s selection with FTP providing a range of vegan eats to market visitors.

This week’s food truck selection includes: NZ Crepes, Buon Appetito, Desi, FTP Vegan Eats, Kai Caff Aye, Mussel Madness, Tearific Bubble Milk Tea, Rossco’s Coffee, Heat Caravan, Aayat’s Exotic Food, Smokers & Grillers, Mobile Chef and Homegrown Kitchen.

Last week all visitors were contact traced upon entry however due to a change in government guidelines that will not be required this week. Other Covid-19 requirements like physical distancing, managed numbers, hygiene practices and hand sanitiser stations will still be in place.

As the alert levels reduce, we will introduce more vendors as we work to return to a full Night Market.

Market organisers are keeping an eye on the weather forecast for tomorrow (Thursday 4 June) with heavy rain predicted to be on the way. Keep an eye on the Rotorua Night Market page to get wet weather updates.
