The winners of The Rotorua Way photo competition have been selected for their outstanding interpretation of what 'The Rotorua Way' is to them.
Each photo was selected for its creativity and uniqueness, and for the way it represented the four strands made up of key strengths and special features that have been identified in 'The Rotorua Way' consultation - an easy lifestyle, diverse opportunities, active environment and strong culture.
Matt Gould - A better way of life
"We've just moved to the city and despite moving away from family and friends, we've never felt more at home than we do now."
Mosalves children - Little ones on wheels
"Rotorua is a perfect place for growing kids, where there is always something to do or something to explore"
Lynmore Primary School, Room 5 - We are Rotorua
"The Children in this photo are very special because they show diversity through our different cultures. The children also represent the future adults for 2030. The outdoor environment is for everyone, showing that Rotorua is an adventurous place to live!"
Esmee Watson - Rotorua is beautiful
"Rotorua is beautiful, and I decided to portray this within a beautiful photo. I've included a photo of the Rotorua museum as it is iconic to Rotorua regardless of whether it can be used or not. I believe Rotorua will always be beautiful as long as we look after our city."
