Topic: Camille Malfroy bust stolen from Government Gardens

Just noticed today the bust of Camille Malfroy appears to have been removed from the Gov Gardens? (see attached pic). I wanted to ask whether this - as far as council knows - was an act of vandalism?
Response
We can confirm that the bronze bust of Camille Malfroy was stolen from the Government Gardens on Monday night. Council Staff reported the theft to police on Tuesday. Government Gardens are actively patrolled by our Community Safety Team and we have already deployed additional resource to help deter any similar offending.

We understand the bust of a sculpture of Camille Malfroy may have been stolen from the Government Gardens. Our photographer has been to the site and says it looks to be damaged.
Has this been reported to the council?
If so, what can the council tell us about this?
