Awahou Activities & Sports Club - Application for Renewal of a Club Licence



Friday 15 January 2021: The following application has been received for an alcohol licence. Objections may be made within 15 working days of the publication of this notice.

Objection period closes Friday 5 February 2021.

Section 101 Pursuant to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
Awahou Activities & Sports Club has made application to the Rotorua District Licencing Committee for the renewal of a Club licence in respect of the premises situated at 64 Awahou Village, Hamurana  and known as Awahou Activities & Sports Club.

The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is sports and activities.

The days on which and the hours during which liquor is (or is intended to be) sold under the licence are Sunday to Thursday 11.00am to 12.00am the following day, Friday to Saturday 11.00am to 1.00am the following day.

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the office of the Rotorua District Licensing Committee at the Civic Centre, 1061 Haupapa Street, Rotorua.

Any person who is entitled to object to the grant of the application may, not later than 15 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the Rotorua District Licensing Committee, c/- Rotorua Lakes Council, Private Bag RO 3029, Rotorua 3040.

 (II) No objection to the renewal of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.​
