Council's Logo

Council adopted the current logo as its corporate brand in 2014.

The 1963 coat of arms now appears in just a few formal places - for example, on the Mayor's letterhead.

Council’s logo was created to meet the need for an easy-to-identify brand promoting Rotorua as a desirable place to live, work, invest in and visit.

The council logo is to be used only for approved Rotorua Lakes Council purposes. Requests for permission to use the logo for any other purpose require council approval in advance via
